An International Café Unlike Any Other
An International Café Unlike Any Other
Coffee Mood Books
Doha, Qatar
01/ PROJECT BACKGROUND
Coffee Mood Books is a coffee shop in Doha, Qatar with a western design and branding influence, where every one can share thoughts, ideas, dreams and educate one another. Its intentions were to be a place to meet friends or read a book or work on a project. We worked with Coffee Mood Books to bring their vision to life, on paper…or rather…on cups.
02/ BRAND IDENTITY & LOGO DESIGN
“Coffee Mood Books is people who love to dream, think and inspire others…and of course for those who appreciate coffee” With those words in mind, we created a logo that is simple, that doesn’t make you think…and looks good on a drink.
03/ BRAND STRATEGY
Our was focus on dreams and inspiration resonates throughout Coffee Mood Books’ brand identity and message. Simple, intentional, beautiful, and artistic, reflected throughout all of our design materials for the Qatar coffee shop.
04/ LANDING PAGE DESIGN
While the brand is being developed, we put up a temporary landing page as a placeholder for what is to come. The page is simple, and features social media pages, contact info, and most importantly, the menu!
05/ BRAND IMAGE
We had a hand in the creative direction throughout the whole process. Our client wanted to take a more artistic approach oppose to the traditional style, from the designs for the cups, napkins to bags, shirts and more. We won’t mention how many cups of coffee were drank while designing this brand.
06/ THE RESULTS
Coffee Mood Books has taken its place as one of the top new brands in Qatar’s expansion of western styled businesses— and has been recognized as a top coffee shop in Doha. Having recently opened a new location with plans to open another in Summer of 2016, there are no signs on the horizon of this businesses growth slowing down.
“SmartNet’s brand design team captured exactly what I was looking for when creating my coffee shop brand.”
